Our story
GGBT Impact Foundation was born out of necessity. We served. We showed up. We did the hard jobs—downrange, on the streets, in the stations, in the chaos—because that’s what we were built to do. And when it was our turn to get support? Too many of us were handed waitlists, paperwork, and “resources” that didn’t understand our world. Promises were made. Too often, they were broken. So we built what we needed. GGBT Impact is creating a Veteran and First Responder ecosystem designed for real life—not theory. An ecosystem that connects veterans, first responders, and their spouses to people who get it, and to resources that actually help. Our goal is simple: Connection before crisis Peer support without judgment Resources without red tape A community that doesn’t leave people behind We won’t pretend the system is perfect. We’ve lived the proof that it isn’t. But we can promise this: We won’t fail our own.
